International Graduate Admissions

  • Admission Requirements for Graduate Program
    • Candidates with O-Level certificate must have a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.50 with 5 (five) subjects.
    • Candidates with A-Level certificate must have a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.50 with 2 (two) subjects.
    • Candidates with Higher Secondary certificate must have a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.50 out of GPA 4.00 or at least 2nd division. 
    • Candidate must have a four year or three year Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA 2.50 or it’s equivalent in any field of study.

    Note:

    • At least 15-year schooling (12-year schooling + 3/4-year graduation) is essential for Graduate program.
  • Admission Scholarship/Waiver Structure
    • As part of this commitment, ULAB offers an admission scholarship/waiver structure where international students have the opportunity to study at the same tuition fees as local students.
      Additionally, international students are eligible to avail themselves of all other scholarship opportunities that are available for local students.
      This approach ensures fairness, inclusivity, and access to educational resources for all students, fostering a diverse and vibrant academic community.

  • Documents Required
    • Completed admission application form
    • Scanned attested copy of Bachelor’s Transcript and certificate along with previous academic transcript and certificate. If the original copy is written in a foreign language that is not English, applicants must provide a certified translation.
    • A statement confirming the medium of instruction is English. TOEFL/IELTS score may be required to fulfill English proficiency level, if the previous medium of instruction was not in English. The minimum acceptable score for IELTS is 5.5 and for TOEFL is 500.
    • Scanned copy of information page of valid Passport with at least 1 year validation
    • Passport size photograph (1 copy).
    • Health checkup/medical certificates
  • Application and Admission Process

    Step 01

    Send the mentioned documents (under DOCUMENTS REQUIRED clause) to International Affairs Office (IAO) of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) via email at oia@ulab.edu.bd.

    Step 02

    • Receive the offer letter via email issued by the International Affairs Office after it is approved by the respective Program Office of ULAB.
    • Apply for a student visa to the nearest Bangladesh Embassy. The International Affairs Office may assist the student in applying for the student visa. However, the student will have to manage the visa by himself/herself.
    • Send your flight ticket to the International Affairs Office (oia@ulab.edu.bd at least 2-days before your departure. You will receive a details of a contact person who will be assisting you to enter to Bangladesh (for immigration at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and campus tour).

    Step 03

    After your safe arrival in Dhaka, Bangladesh, the International Affair Office of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) will assist you to complete admission process by the guidance of Admission Office.

    Scholarships/Waiver  Policy for Graduate Admission

    • 40% tuition scholarship for siblings/spouse;
    • 40% tuition scholarship for ULAB/GEMCON employee ward/spouse;
    • 20% tuition scholarship for ULABian’s;
    • 20% tuition scholarship for students with three 1st class/Div. (CGPA 3 out of a 4 point scale &  GPA 4 out of a 5 point scale );
    • 15% tuition scholarship for students with two 1st class/Div. (CGPA 3 out of a 4 point scale & GPA 4 out of a 5 point scale );
    • 10% tuition scholarship for working students (Min. experience 2 Years);
    • 10% tuition scholarship for female students;
    • Corporate Offer: If a group of three persons from the same organization join the program at the same term each will enjoy 10% tuition scholarship.

    Note

    1. A cap of 40% scholarships shall be in place.
    2.  To be eligible for M.A in English (1Year) a candidate must have a Four year Bachelor Degree in English.
    3.  Students taking remedial courses in Mathematics & English based on admission test results are to pay Taka 5000 for each course.
